First Nations: Inquiry-Based Research You will be learning about different aspects of Native life and culture. The class will be divided into two First Nations groups: the Wendat and Woodland Cree. Look at the group list to determine which Native group you will be researching and who your partner is. You and your partner will be responsible for researching a specific area of Native life. The areas that will be researched are the environment, food, shelter, technology/tools, clothes, transportation and entertainment. You must complete the area you were assigned (no complaints or switching)! Using the textbook, you will research your assigned area of Native life. Remember the different strategies we have used in class to record and organize information. Once you have researched your assigned area of Native life, you will complete a multimedia presentation. You may use Google PowerPoint, Slide Rocket or Bit Strips. If you would like to use another program, please ask! Your media presentation will include text and pictures. Don’t forget to use Creative Commons for your pictures and cite where you got your information from in your presentation.
